Two lovers first kiss
The realization that their love is real
But there is a form,
A way, that is to be shared.
The Art of Kiss.
The lovers position themselves
Blood rushing,
Minds boggled,
Thunderous sounds of their hearts beating.
The male stares into the eyes of his woman
Knowing that this kiss will forever change their lives
A first kiss is like virginity,
Once it’s gone it never can be returned,
So the boy whispers to her, “Kiss me”.
This is the Art of Kiss.
“First, we look into each others eyes,
With every great emotion traveling through our body
The awkwardness of the moment makes us rethink
However we know we’ll do it, for our hearts
Doesn’t tell us otherwise.
I’ll grab hold of your shoulders and gently rub them
The smirk on your face tells me you want it and need it
A deathly silence plagues us for a split second
Until I lift your face and reach in
There are three steps:
1. I lick my lips hoping they won’t be chapped
2. Then I’ll breathe and touch you to make you feel comfortable
3. At last, I’ll lift your chin so that our angle is right, then kiss you.”
As according to the steps their lips collide,
Only for a second but they know it isn’t over yet,
They still have two kisses left,
They giggle knowing that they’ve crossed a boundary of no return
No longer friends…
But lovers.
It isn’t complete they must finish the last two kisses.
They talk to try and shy away from that awkward moment,
However, the boy and girl alike know it isn’t over.
Every word they speak brings them closer to their second
A few seconds go by and the boy wishes for another kiss
Running through her mind is acceptance the longing for
The kiss that she needs so dearly, he asks again.
Order comes back and they share the second
Fact or fiction they wonder, as this isn’t only a peck but a “real” kiss
Kiss me once more the boy says, and they agree
Icy hot feelings run through them as this is more passionate than one and two
Smothered in his love she sits on top of him and they kiss for longer
Smooth feelings take them far away into a magical journey. This is The Art of Kiss.
