The Arrogance Of Goodness Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Arrogance Of Goodness

the irony about money
is that when you do not need it
they come to you and knock
at your door and having been
disappointed about life and its
moral infirmities you decline it
and have your door closed
throughout the night of
your grief and intolerance.
