The Antagonist



It thought better dark,
When you sought the day,
Would pick the park,
When you got the highway,

When your eyes did shine,
It was the one black hole,
When you had your time,
It made clock's role,

You saw a green leaf,
Made sign of the path,
But It preferred the reef,
And went for a bath,

You kissed the girl,
It thought she was great,
But you had a drunk's drill,
Went to frustrate,

You peered at the lightpost,
It did chose to shy,
You were dignity's host,
It was where shadows lie,

It is the ultimate nemesis,
It is the bride and the groom,
With you since the genesis,
Till your first time at doom,

It hides on the no's of yourself,
It rides on the go's of not taken roads,
It is non read books on the shelf,
It is role play of non sang odes,

Excelling at reading your thoughts,
Best at revealing your will,
Ties some untieable knots,
And spend many for few,

It is on the inside of you,
Got your being on a list,
For it is part of you too,
The final Antagonist,
