Our brief sojourn on this Earth
draws so swiftly to its close,
and only Death right answer, -
if there is one, - might disclose.
Answer
Where of Love there is a dearth,
‘tis in vain that mankind sows, -
Love is life and hope, rebirth,
what a pity no-one knows!
