The Animals Thanksgiven Poem by Kevin Patrick

The Animals Thanksgiven

The cat sits on the loveseat
And the dog lies on the couch
Their eyeing one another
In a deadlock for the house
The cat stairs rather acrid At the pup who looks perplexed Though the dog could rinse the cat It's the cat who should be muzzled

There perched within their countries
In their claimants furniture
Neither scheming nor conniving
To annex the others stature
It's late and they both know
That there cold war is now expiring
And they rest in peace most certain
Night is their sanctum for thanksgiving

Animals are also part of life and world drama. The animal thanks giving is not only beautiful but also more valuable poem for awareness. Dogs and cats every day help a lot in giving companion. Nicely penned poem. On expiring they rest in certain peace. In between grief and joy or reading it is nice.
