The Angry Man Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

The Angry Man

The angry man cursed
At those he loved.
He was in a rage…
What was he thinking of?

The angry man slammed
The door with force
And the glass shattered.
It was not his fault of course!

The angry man has lost
Control of his life.
His secrets are exposed.
He scares his kids and wife.

The angry man is now alone,
The house is blackened.
He tries to arrange the pieces
And ponders what has happened.

A clearly written message that anger uncontained eventually leaves only darkness and the impossibility of rearrangement in the shattering of life and love. Well done.
