The Adjustment Poem by Innocent Seilane

The Adjustment

It is not of physical but of mental,
Thus it is of testing nature
Testing your intelligence,
Your poise and gratitude thus many
Have not adjusted to the very adjustment,
That justifies their nature, in this
They perish in their endeavours

The adjustment is not a virtue,
But a decision upon ones' self
A solemn oath from the heart
As the mind weeps for freedom,
From the oppressions of indenial
And regret, as it decreases our
Humanity and our humility
