The Ache Poem by Jaya Mishra

The Ache

I'm sitting alone and wondering why,
I met you and you became my life.
When you had to scratch yourself away,
Why did you bring those colourful days?
When you had to break them all,
Why did you make those promises fo souls?
When you had to leave me all alone,
Why did you make yourself my home?

I'm sitting alone and wondering why
I met you and you became my life.....

I know you saw those pity tears,
where loosing you was the only fear
rolling down my cheecks, my chin
when I knew nothing of your been.
I woke all night to see you return
And all I got was my hopes burned......

I'm sitting alone and wondering why
I met you and you became my life.......

I remember all that you said
Of our love that would never fade,
I'm still gathering all you broke
'cause I'll never kill my pretty hopes.
To see you walk my aisle again
I still gaze the door with my eyes on flame.....

And all I've left is to wonder why
I met you and you became my life............

Love is like fire, lorn-love is like smouldering embers And the pain will take a longer time to become ashes! ! ! A good poem! ! ! !
