That Summer Night Poem by Siyabonga A Nxumalo

That Summer Night

Rating: 4.8

I couldn't help but rivet my eyes
on your erect boobs and well shaped hips,
Noticing how your snow-white dress Clung on you
As you walked towards me.

I noticed the fire in your eyes as you looked
At me across the table,
And your lovely face was lighted with a smile
As your warm hands touched mine.
Felt the beating of your heart as you sat beside me
On the couch, noticed your cute lips were poised
Between a laugh and silence and we kissed passionately.

Then I picked you up,
Carried you to the bedroom.
After a time of heady exploration,
Devouring your lovely lips,
Our eager bodies came together,
Struggling in an ancient ritual.
Occasionally, your low moans of pleasure broke
The stillnes of the lonely house.

Tree branches gently caressing the roof tiles
As a breeze came up.
I froze when your arms were locked across my broad back,
And I heard your muted cries of pleasure.
I held you close for several minutes and you
Did not open your eyes,
And when you did,
It was to smile happily up to my shadowed face,
And we just gazed at each other

A heightened moment of cosummation with all sensuous details....! ! Great diction in vivid imagery! ! But it should have been a winter night.....!
