That Shadowy Night Poem by LODER TAGE

That Shadowy Night

Rating: 2.5

A shadowy night it was,
when love first twinkled.
the hollow music of the breeze,
gentle and soothing to the drums.
an ebb in the heart was felt,
butterflies in the 'mach was heeded.
her gentle sway of the locks,
the shy smile of hers.
the blushing freckles on her cheeks,
brows that were a sight to behold.
there was nothing he could do to stop it,
he was drowning in the wave of her love.
for that was the shadowy night,
when love first twinkled.
