That's Why I Like You, Baby Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

That's Why I Like You, Baby

I like when the shoe game is fresh
How you walked over only to express
You been checking on it, i'm impressed
the next move you'd make, was your best
from that moment on things would progress
Can tell from how you walking, you're confident
I love the way you smelling, what is that fragrance?
You've got a personality that's just so radiant

I like how you know what you want and go for it
and you know how to work a conversation in a way
that will have someone who is usually not interested
fallen, hook, line and sinker
talking about it isn't that often
I'll come across someone quite like you
there's something special about you
You the kind of person that I like

I like how you looked me in my eye, keeping eye contact
Exchange of numbers, i'll be calling you tonight
Lay across my bed with little to nothing on
You say you wish you were here to see this sight
You know i'm looking good and i'm smelling right
i'm the type you want in your life
Everytime you talking to me, feelings would ignite
As you'd often say, i'm one of the world's delights
