That Romantic Night Poem by Toshie Nohara

That Romantic Night

It's not Romance on the High Seas
Theirs was on a romantic Summer night
When the moon was shining so bright
As they walked hand in hand with ease
Stars were twinkling up above
They reminisced how they fell in love
When he kissed her in the moonlight
Her eyes glowed with sparkling delight
And when he whispered so tenderly
'Darling, will you marry me? '
Their hearts danced so merrily
Wedding bells seemed to ring happily
In their ears quite clearly
Like music from heaven so sweetly
It was true love from the start
They knew they would never depart.
