That Old Book Poem by Landrey

That Old Book

the chains are loosed
i finally see blue sky
can't reel me back in

no shame in running
like they taught: don't play with fire
go grab a bucket

here the flames have died
time to go save the others
run away, run far

dust off that OLD BOOK
the others just fan the flame
find Living Water

I say, old chap, you do have a knack for seeing things differently than the rest of us. Quite the analogist. Keep it up.

Landrey, this piece is simply inspiring. The freedom conveyed, the running from the flames of our former ways, helping others escape-and then the clinch ending.... wonderful!
