That Moment Poem by Merlene Campbell

That Moment

It hits you with an impact twice the size of gravity
A catalytic event where the seconds don't move
Capable of adjusting the planets to a single parallel
Where the temporal plane ceases to exist in each outlook
Reality is perspective, subjective to the individual
Here is that moment, the underlying indifference
The emptiness of existence, the utterly indescribable
Where literary stops the planets align
The temporal existence becomes subjective
This is that moment, the stagnation of the word
The grasp for words, that just isn't there.
