I know no matter how much i try
i'll never get that guy
the one who makes my heart skip a beat
and makes me want to bust out in the street
professing my love for all to here

Every night i'd make it clear to god
And all the angels in the air
that this is the guy who needs to appear
and steal my heart away

Yet i feel that he is miles away
even though he's right here—near me
A touch, a hi, a wondering eye will do me just fine
put me to sleep knowing i caught the guy

And no matter how much he'd try
i would always be by his side
no not in presence
but in his mind
