That Girl. Poem by Normal Girl Normal World

That Girl.

Rating: 3.0

She can't think straight,
All the people taking the mik.
She can't help it,
It's just the way she feels.

Her Friends have left her,
Afraid of what she thinks.
You see this girl,
She's not an ordinary girl.

Her friends suspected long ago,
They spoke about boys all the time.
'who's the fittest? ' 'oh I like him'.
This girl never answered,
She never even listened.

All the boys used to flirt,
Now they snigger and look in disgrace.
All because the one night,
Her best friend betrayed her.

Now everybody knows,
About her sexuality.
No-one to talk to,
Who can she trust?

I see this girl every day,
I feel sorry for her ever so.
Such a nice girl,
Ignored by the world.

I stand up for this girl,
Whenever is need be.
Even if I have plans,
I always help her out.

All the Boys,
And all the girls,
Laugh at me too.
But i don't care anymore,
Because she is my friend.

Just because this girl,
Doesn't like the sort of people,
That you like.
It doesn't mean that you,
Have to be afraid,
And completely ignore her.

She is just like you and me,
Living in a normal world.
You make her life so hard,
She feels like she doesn't fit.

She hasn't got a disease,
But you act like she is vermin.
This girl just wants a normal life.
Why don't you just accept,
She is who she is?

She shouldn't have to change,
Because you don't like her sexuality.
It's her choice,
As to who she wants to be,
Not yours.
