Thanks For Inspiration Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

How much I owe to friends and admirers?
I may not know but I am suppose to be good listener
Have heard them in many ways and got encouraged
Maintained the good rapport and never damaged

I have loving heart that beats with rhythm
Picks up suggestions and follows them
They provide me the clue with their beautiful faces
Some of them write beautifully in keeping with pace

Oh no, it will be unfair if I fail to pay in words
I am dead sure they were the inspiration to look forward
Why should they not be given prominence in my literary project?
After all it is their whole hearted encouragement and support

I have written many poems on personal level
Praising their appearance, nature and dwelt
At length about their impact on my mind
It was always unique to feel their presence and find

How can I forget that cuckoo voice in morning?
The same name I gave to one of my friend for warning
Yet proving so close and intimate in days that were followed
What a show of strength that was breathed and allowed!

I picked up stick to walk with in literally world
The name strikes even in dream when I feel cold
Provides warm environment with her beautiful skill
I would not have been at this height without her will

Emperor Shahjehan* built love tomb in honor
Gave name as Mumtajmahal and unusually favored
I cherish the name and adore in its majestic style
That name strikes me almost every day in each line

Thousands have extended heir support openly
Came out in defiance and stood firmly
I have to bow my head in recognition
Of their unstinted love and admission

I was living object on sand
That stood on the sea bank with no friends
They are now everything to me as family
A rare gift and honor blessed to me by an almighty
