Thankful For The Music Poem by Lyn Paul

Thankful For The Music

Rating: 5.0

Its A long Road
Yet
I Can See clearly Now
To
Always look On the Bright Side Of Life
When
Losing My Religion
I Fall Down But I Get Up Again
For
The Sound Of Silence
Can
Take Me Back
Or
Raise Me Up
Up Where I Belong
Let Us See
How Far We've Come
There is
Always The Sun
With
Many Rivers To Cross
There
Ain't no Mountain High Enough
&
It can seem
Along Way To The Top
When
A Bad Moon Is Rising
Just
Breathe
&
Be
Thankful
For The Music

Natural music makes life so beautiful and serene. Yor poem is superb muse. When we lose religion we fall down alright and get up as a chance to ammend. The motivating lines are also poeticaly great here lynn.

This is a sound mosaic. We think in terms of colors with a visual mosaic but this one gives us snatches of songs. I could hear the songs in the background as I read. Most of of them are so familiar, so fixed in the memories of the past few generations they pop up without the need to call them forth. That's what your poem does in addition to its surface message. It makes our memories work fast. I like the theme of gratitude that runs through it. We could prevent the blue mood from getting us down if we count our blessings more often. Did I just come up with an idea for a poem? !
