Thank You Mom Poem by L.A Barboza

Thank You Mom

Rating: 5.0

With a lion's rage,
I will fight to the end.
I will be the mage,
The one that makes magic to have his best friend.

A golden shadow,
Has been the fights.
You act like a widow,
A strong might.

I will bring bronze silver and gold,
From heaven's streaming shore.
I will bring rubies diamonds and esmeralds,
From the deepest mines of the interminable sky.
I will bring the buried treasures,
Of the deepest pond.
I will bring the whole world,
Just to get your love.

I have seen shooting stars pass by,
The dark, gloomy sky.
I didn't gaze much at their shine,
I was looking at your eyes.

I can see whole galaxies,
Full of stars.
They all iluminate your hand,
As you feel my heart pound.

A pandora box has been hidden,
In all the darkness buried in Triton's trident.
The three pillars that hold the stars in the sky,
Are the invisible angels and your two shining eyes.

If my words could travel through the past,
I would whisper in your ear.
I just want to tell you dear,
How much I wish you were here.

I have known you from the start of all love,
But I have not shown it to you anymore.
So that's why I'm standing here,
Telling all these things to unknown people that think it's all so weird.

I got a bottle of wine in front of my eyes,
And I will let it be there standing by.
I cannot think of drinking a sip,
I just think how your eyes look when you see me.

New Year is coming,
Joy and hope to my heart are going.
Im writing poems waiting for you to answer,
And still I think you're going out with that dancer.

Excitement is consuming my soul,
And I just want to make fireworks explote.
I'm waiting for the next year to come,
Just to say I love you much.

Frozen in colors,
Covered with snow.
That is my love,
With you being gone.

Feeling the pain,
Of living the life.
The one without you being there,
The one of not seeing your pretty smile.

Two-thousand twelve is erasing the past,
December thirty is writing the present.
Two-thousand thirteen is writing the future,
My heart is expecting your presence.

While laying down,
Staring at the ceiling.
I want to tell you know,
That you're as sweet as a good feeling.

Have you ever seen butterflies spread their wings,
And rise to the sky.
It was a beautiful thing,
I thought the same when I saw you pass by.

When heavy wings grow lighter,
And small holes grow wider.
As my old man gets wiser,
My love will be a lot higher.

You're a great gift,
Full of surprises.
You're skycraper,
Full of floors filled with blank papers.

In those papers,
I give you my heaven.
I write the daily poems,
The one that tells stories of all our moments.

My phone is filled with photos,
Memories that tell our past.
A world full of mottos,
A spell that I want to cast.

Creating fire,
And forming water.
Blowing wind,
And moving earth.
I would control those four things,
Just for in your heart to be immersed.

Prosperity has been the origin of dreams,
The seed of your gleaming steem.
The universe is reduced to one thing,
Your light angel wings.

There's always superheroes,
That defend your mighty ego.
There's always someone,
That makes you feel like no other one.

The white floors,
Tell me stories.
The green walls,
Tell me secrets.
The pure-white chats,
Make me have feelings.
The pure-hearted words,
Make me grow fillets.

I just want to let you know,
How lovely you are.
When you look at the sun,
You will know how bounces my heart.

My words will travel,
In past present and future.
They will remind me of the marvel,
The one that holds my illusions.

I find myself lost in temptation,
A charming deflection.
I'm addicted to your eyes,
And hiptonized to your pretty smile.

If the world leaves you behind,
I would go back just to have you in my arms.
I will not love anyone else more than you,
God forgives me if I'm not telling the truth.

Open me your heart,
I will kiss away the broken parts.
Open me your soul,
I will blow away the smoke.

Look into my eyes,
And see a sun glow and rise.
Look into my heart,
And see paradise go into your path.

As time passes,
My heart needs glasses.
As I look for a solution,
My soul tells me you're my illusion.

Look behind the road,
And see Heaven arise at the streaming shore.
Look into my dreams,
And see you and me.

I want you to hug me,
So you can feel how my heart beats when you're with me.
I want you to see me,
So you can look at the smile I got when you're with me.

As you see the gleaming sun rising,
A new beginning is starting.
As you see the speculous stars shining,
A fulfilled heart is flying.

Just close your eyes,
And tell me what you see.

When you look at the tempted darkness,
The broken soul.
You know that leafs are dying,
The chilly snow.

You saw the blind hell,
That can only be felt with pain.
You felt the trembling doubt,
Of not having me to be your stout.

You closed the door,
And made the world soak.
You made yourself a hell,
Heaven's opposite shell.

Your world became a delight,
My two shining eyes.
Your sight became a dream,
My gleaming steem.

My happiness doesn't have a price,
It has your name.

You have been the origin of dreams,
The paradise I want to be in.
You have been the golden night,
The unfathomable sweet light.
You have been the pain of fright,
The nightmare of all lost flight.
You have been God's cristaline sky,
The origin and might of all my life.

I just saw Heaven arise at the whistle of night,
And sky has fallen down to an open heart.
Clouds tickled my soul,
And made me feel the sweet rain of the snow.
I just saw eternity bump in the road,
I have seen a monster arise from Heaven's shore.

Reality loses illusionment of collapse,
Apocalipsis has given the slap.
Hell's awaiting the arise of light,
To steal away thus Heaven's might.

Memories will become the treasure,
Of every man's deflection.
Dreams will become the rising tree,
Of every man's gasping screech.

You have been my reason to meant,
All the sorrowing I've had as offense.
You have been the broken part,
All the defiance that holds my heart.

You have been the only light,
That has existed on a drunk man's wine.
You have been the infinite end,
To my open forgiveness.

For everything that you have given me,
And everything that you have not,
I just want to tell the whole world,
Thank you Mom.

Wow, Baaboza. That is one, LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG poem. But it just shows how much you love your mom. Is she still alive? These are emotions that can only be expressed by you, and you have done it well. Good luck in the poetry world! Tiegan
