Thank You Lord For This Christmas Day
For all the joy in little hearts at play

For the chance to feed those in need
And share this life with them indeed

For the love of my family and wife
Without whom I wouldn't have life

For friends new and old everywhere
For warm tight hugs to show we care

But most of all for daring to save
This lowly one as I hid in my cave

For tiny arms that dragged me out
Refusing to let me hide and pout

For not allowing me to let it pass by
Wrapped in misery and wanting to die

Self pity is a most horrid beast
When for us You're planning a feast

With all the love You sent my way
I just couldn't help living this day

So thank You Father for the magic this day
And grant that I will forward it pay
