Thank You

Thank you for giving me
so love!
am i worthy of this
emotion?
I ask me and feel
ashamed of my incapability
O my master!
You have vision to see
present, past and future!
You know,
I'm nothing but a puppet
in a string swaying by
your hand!
In my solitariness
when I think of giving
back something to you,
I don't find anything
which I have but
having any value
to you!
I weep, I cry
and sit to breathe
my prayer.
My Lord don't leave,
be my pathfinder forever!

You have something of great value to the Lord... YOU!
And you are not a pupet on a string, not a toy on a string
You are the most precious of all things.
Only a creator can hold all his creations most precious. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet John Clare

I love to see the old heath's withered brake
Mingle its crimpled leaves with furze and ling,
While the old heron from the lonely lake
Starts slow and flaps its melancholy wing,
