Thank You... Poem by Izumi Shobhya

Thank you teachers for
reaching deep in me,
Finding the light that even I couldn't see.
Guiding my boat through the storms,
Teaching me all the worldly norms.
For taking the venture,
moulding my future,
nurturing my character.
Introducing me to the real meaning of life,
Leading me to my inner paradise.
For being there when ever I felt blue,
You were there whenever I needed you
I wish there was something else that I could do
Guess I'll just say
a 'thank you'.
