Eternity a word meaning forever
But can we really fathom this word
Does it sound that great?

The pains of today
We claim will go away
Is that so
Or do we just learn to adjust
By adjusting we are simply dealing
And dealing is only temporary

Sadly what are eyes have seen
Will always be what are eyes have seen
And scars just fade
But never go away

How many people can we handle dying
In one life time
How many times can our heart
Be broken

Sure we obtain the ability to get stronger
But if this is how we do it
How strong do we really want to be

So I think in regards to appreciating life
We must give thanks

That we get to die
