Thank God! !
As you are back
From the tunnel of death,
trapped inside the murky depths
for nine days;
When a part of the tunnel caved in
And the fate of you two was sealed
In uncertainty for such a long duration.
Oxygen, food and communication restored
We can understand your emotions
When you tearfully asked the officers outside
To look after your family
It was no less than an ordeal and a miracle.
Your indomitable spirit
And the daunting task of the rescue team
With their skills and machines
Calibrated the long rescue work
Without a pause dug a big hole
Into the rocky tunnel
And turned despair into hope
Out you came in your world of light.
Thank God! !
Thank You, Administration
Thank You, Rescue team
God Bless You.
Wow a noble compassionate poem feeling grateful to God for fellow humans rescued after many days, . Kudos for a great poem.
The disaster struck in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh has been so touchingly inscribed. By the grace of God ninety labourers were managed to come out expect two who were trapped inside. It was happy that finally the two workers were rescued for the nine days continious work of the rescue team. Thank to God and thank to you for sharing this incedental poem.
Of course, it was a difficult operation but the courage of the persons trapped inside the tunnel and those of the rescue team is commendable which made this miracle happen. Thanks, Kumarmani ji.
Such a miracle that all the workers were rescued. To survive for nine days in such claustrophobia shows in itself how tough-minded the men were.
Of course, it was the spirit of survivors as well as the faith of the rescue team which paved the way for this operation to be successful.
The interlacement and flourishing of rescue team are quite commendable indeed so is your craftsmanship and vivid narration of the event........Rajnishji........thanks for sharing......10
So pleased to have your kind words of appreciation. Thanks a lot, Deepak ji.
