Tete-A-Tete Poem by Mihaela Pirjol

Tete-A-Tete

Rating: 5.0

In the season of flowers, and of fruit,
The ruby wine was rich and smooth;
Sipping it tête-à-tête, at ‘Pigasus, '
With all around: —but only us!

It subtly slipped throughout our veins:
The sunlight in our eyes, was of a domain
That only fairy tales can show the magic;
With some prognostication of an ending tragic…

And we parted quietly with that embrace:
Too shy, to look into each other's face;
But within our hearts, we felt, that very hour:
This lasting love, and its tremendous power!

When in love, we tend to forget the surroundings which transforms into something surreal. A fantastic poem.

Sipping ruby wine by sitting tete-a -tete gives pleasure as well as it brings the person to an ending tragic. This has been so nicely and hauntingly inscribed by you dear Pirjol. It may be quoted... It subtly slipped throughout our veins; The sunlight in our eyes, was of domain That only fairytales can show the magic; With some prognostication of an ending tragic. Thanks for sharing this lovely poem.10
