Testimony Of Truth

Oh! Lord God to be more like You
Like Jesus doing right
To live, to love grow righteous through
Walking within life's light

As living guide, Lord I'll need You
Hard would it be alone
Man's eyes man's sinful soul to view
To melt this heart of stone

Knowing selfishly I'd see me
Failing to do my best
From sin, from shame, never free
I'd fail life's crucial test

I'll need my God, all night all day
As living King to reign
Teaching my soul, life's only Way
Afraid, of living in vain

'Too late, too late' will countless cry
Loving their lives of shame
Not knowing Lord, You chose to die
To save us, from hell's flame

Through things I've done, things I've said
Thoughts wicked unjust
I'll need You Lord, to raise my head
Knowing my God I trust

For trust with faith, while given me
The Promise once You said
The day, Lord God You'll set me free
With saints alive and dead

Nothing I'll lose, no good will wane
Life's truth will always stand
A child through Jesus, born-again
Will dwell Your Promised Land.....
