Tendered Flora Poem by John Leroy Maxwell

Tendered Flora

Oh yonder blossom, whose fragrance fills my soul
Why dost thou remain, alone, in burrowed love
Let thy beauty of thy petals reflect thine aspiration
Come forth, let me cultivate and reap thy sweet nectar
Your aura is my feast that would tempt the Gods and
my passion is the warm velvet feel of your intimacy
As we bloom together, I am taken thru the valleys of
love, shadowed only by the deep desire, which surely
will open to a golden pool of satisfaction
Leaving us with a deeper understanding of our life
and love
