Temptation With Flowers Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Temptation With Flowers

Rating: 5.0

so many flowers given
for the wrong reason
flowers given in vain

some men think
to win love
with flowers given

alas love is not
to be purchased
arranged so easily

give to receive a smile
glowing like golden sunlight
or a blush young innocent
heartfelt in modesty pleasure

but do not dishonour flowers
do not dishonour pure hearts
