Temporary We Are Here Poem by ART PAUL SCHLOSSER

Temporary We Are Here

We live in a temporary body Eating food with limited nutrition In a temporary world For a temporary time

We reach out for fortune and fame Thinking they are eternal But they are only temporary And our success is limited to our ability

Money is inflated Money also changes value Unless it is invested Money flies away like a bird with wings

Time favors no one We all will get old and die If we do not die from some unforeseen accident
We will still die when we get old

Fame is fleeting Fame also is not something we can control Choose wisely what you get famous for But even then you still may get famous for what you were foolish at

So knowing that we are all here for a minute And time is precious and not something we should waste Let us consider ways we can leave behind hope If fame and fortune come along with it don't sneeze at the offering
