Temple Bells And Chapel Chimes © Poem by Roann Mendriq

Temple Bells And Chapel Chimes ©

Atop a verdant vibrant hill,
Temple bells ring out each hour;
and echo in the valleys still,
a gentle sound yet filled with power.

With joyous flags that billow wild
in the hushed, whispering wind;
Praises to the Gods who smiled,
forgiving all those who had sinned.

Softly in the unknown distance,
Chapel chimes begin their chants;
A chorus exulting existence,
One chime for every wish God grants!

The Angelus at end of day,
resounding bells at Elevation;
Calls to give thanks and to pray,
in fervent supplication.

The lilt of Chapel chimes blend in
with ringing temple bells that peal;
Each note in perfect tune within
Each note ordained to soothe and heal.

The sweet harmony of chimes and bells
of Chapels, Temples where God dwells.
