Tempera Blue Poem by Miroslava Odalovic

Tempera Blue

Oh give me the light
To paint the spheres in marble stones
And choke the fears down to the bones
Pronouncing death insanity tempera blue
Of skyward sacred monsters dedicated to the bright
Who never trusted the stars unless they were one of them
Shining piercing diamond scars
Unto the knives of Guerra Guerra et Libertas
Oozing down the cavemen walls
Fetish hidden strife
Too scared to spell the evil
Too brave to face its facets
Hanging on the ropes of the deadly smiles
And down the rims of broken hands
Painting the final so as to survive
And not be swallowed by tempera night
