Temper Poem by Don Nguyen

Temper

Temper worldly wind to steer the love boat with the sail of my bodily soul;
Temper arduous joy with the spirit of contemplative self control;
Temper flawed characters to influence souls with greater tenderness;
Temper spontaneous instincts often with well-disguised anguish,
Not even a faint sign now to reveal the true nature of a bleeding heart
In order to share the Agony in the Garden of his God,
Who had endured the terrible torture to save souls.
Love with all concealed sensitivity,
Only reveal the out-going of a loving heart
Who recognizes the good Lord in all things,
Who gives thanks in both favors and sufferings.
Reach deep in your desires, your longing,
To bleed with the Heart of Christ preceding
Your encounter into the world of hurts,
Being tempered as steel under fire and vise
For greater goods granted toward immortal souls.

I always behave the best at dawn, then everything goes downhill from there.; *) Will try hard today to disappoint somebody but make many others happy.
