One time gone
Another rejected

One time gone
Another set aside

Not refuting truth
Rather unable to accept reality

In values and actions invested
All memories can't just be thrown away

In coping, we struggle
We plea for help, yet won't help ourselves

Time gone
Gone away and gone again

Past decisions
Experiences to save
To reflect on and not to rebuke

Falling down separate roads
Climbing on similar courses

So distinct
Yet all the same

These lives we lead
are one to complete
