Tell Me You Don'T Love Me? Poem by victoria avina

Tell Me You Don'T Love Me?

Kiss me on my lips
With the kiss saying goodbye.

Just show me that you love me,
With that one kiss,
saying you'll never leave my side.

Walking out the door,
did you know you'll break my heart?

Leaving me with tears,
how could you let the fire die?

Don't let this feeling go,
just come back home.
I need you by my side.

With every second that pass,
I beg god once more,
not to let me let you go

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

a A smooth, poignant write...I like the variable stanzaic structure you've employed(Tercet & Couplet) . Nice Work! ~FjR~
