Tell Me Mountain Poem by spiritual seeker

Tell Me Mountain

Just like man, you have withstood the test of time.
The tears of man leave the eyes and flow on the cheeks,
The tears of mountain come from snow and flow to the creeks,
Tell me mountain, do you have a heart that feels?
Cause only tears from a feeling heart affects another soul,
Only those that feel will temper shows,
Your anger spew hot ash and red molten lava flows.
What else is moving you to tears?
Is it man’s carelessness in taking care of his surrounding,
That you are now feeling the heat of things?
Tell me mountain, do you have a mind? ,
What else is making you stand so proudly?
Is it your unwavering duty holding the moving ground,
or the sheer majesty of your towering height?
Tell me mountain do you have a soul?
Cause I see trees and animals come close to you,
Even man in distress, you come to their rescue!
Thank you mountain for listening to me,
I will always respect your presence and duty,
One day, scale me your height, and help me test my human ability,
Tell me mountain, can you be a friend to me?
