Telephone Line Marriage Poem by Seairra Kyger

Telephone Line Marriage

She put on a class act
You saw right through it
Though she was so sad
You could make her laugh
Staring off into the night
Through a rainy window
She smiles
Using raindrops to count the miles

Is her un-breakable barrier
Finally crumbling down
Beat by almost nothing
Just a boy and a bubble bath
You see your world
Through road maps, long distance
Now when it rains
She smiles
Using raindrops to count the miles

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Again another one of those long distense relationship poems. But this one I kept pretty short and sweet. Tough girl finally finds love and lets her walls down

Fresh air sucks, inhale cigarette smoke instead.
