Teenage World Poem by Holly Somer

Teenage World

Rating: 4.0

When highschool is over the cliques disappear
But what we don't realize is their still there
The popular music
The trendy clothes
The best places to eat is where everyone goes
They keep up with the gossip of the newest teen star
Talking about their success and how they'll go far
and even those who are older then you and I
Still pick out the clothes that make them look fly
They choose a car that's fast and fun
Getting eyed from everyone

Love this poem. Nicely put. I never thought about that but it's so true. GREAT JOB!

i've thought about that too...its funi how you never actually get away from the cliques...i think they just grow less disctinct in some places and more in others.
