Teenage Suicide Poem by John Thorkild Ellison

Teenage Suicide

Life is callous, cold and cruel,
He found that out when he went to school.

He had a hopeless youthful crush
On another boy he thought was lush,

That passion reached the farthest stars
Beyond an agony of tears,

But no-one understood that pain
Would drive him finally insane.

Life is callous, cold and cruel
And misfits die from ridicule.
