Teenage Girl Poem by Ellen Greene

Teenage Girl

Teenage girl

Straighten your hair
Skin can't be fair
Nails always polished
Self Esteem demolished
Jeans always tight
Teeth always white
Lip gloss must be shiny
Body must be tiny
Boys are always funny
Personality always sunny
Face always clear
Don't shed a tear
Go through a breakup
But still wear makeup
Always seem dumb
Always chew gum
Parents are wrong
But at least you belong
