Teddy (A Poem For My Daughter) Poem by Kevin Campbell

Teddy (A Poem For My Daughter)

The oldest friend that I have
Is Teddy, my old bear
He lives at the bottom of my bed
I think hes always been there

With his funny brown face
black eyes and nose
And a smile from ear to ear

When I feel lonley, tired or sad
I know who will be there
To give me the greatest biggest hug
Teddy my old bear

There's something soothing and lovable about teddy bears. Is it that they are so cuddly? Huggably soft? Friendly to look at? No matter - they are adorable, and so is this poem. I hope your daughter liked it, Kevin. Love, Fran xxx
