Teddy: Poem by Dieury Dumas

Teddy:

I want to say thanks
Thanks to you Teddy!
For all and every
Acts, laws of humanity
All I can say is thanks.

I say thank you Teddy!
You are really worthy
I want to thank you
And all the Kennedys
For the fights, the victories.

The Human
The Man
The Lion
The Fearless
The Truthfulness!

For being a real human being
For having soul and heart
For compelling with black, white
For discriminate not
For all your good works and pacts.

The dream lives on
The Lion gains on
The destiny reigns on
The dream is getting strong
The other guys are still wrong.

All the tragedy
That our teddy
Had, they became strategy
To lead U.S.A to harmony
Things happened, but history
Revealed he is just legacy
Perfect career, he was lucky.

I remembered you as an
Impressive white man
Talking with integrity,
Soul, heart, authority,
Love about and for America
He did live and he did believe.

Working day and night for
The hard working America
Defending the poor
Empowering the young
Leading the future
Guiding America to victory
Was our Teddy mission and worry
Now you are part of the Legacy
For all you have done for history
Thank you, Teddy.
