* Tears Of Rain Poem by Irene C S ClarkHogg

* Tears Of Rain

Rating: 2.5

His love was a raindrop
In the lonely desert sand.
The place that once was me,
Setting me free,
To blossom once again.

His love, a single tear,
Which touched my parched lips.
Thus he nourished my soul,
Making me whole,
So our true love could reign.

I enjoy the tender touch of this one as well as the beautiful image of the unfolding of a wonderful event. The images are well chosen for their contrast.
