Tears I Cry Poem by Kelsea Osterman

Tears I Cry

Rating: 5.0

As the shouting gets louder the tears hit the floor.
The blood soon mingles with the
endless tears that have fallen.
I tried to stop but what pain you
have inflicted upon me it is so hard
to bare that I just can’t anymore.
You once said you are always my little girl,
but yet here I am still a little girl
but no longer yours.
The blade that digs deeper into the
skin that is now tinted with the sweet cimson color.
I want to cry out but there is no sound
that comes to my lips.
As the tears fall my from my eyes
i see that there is nothing I can do.
There is no one I want to help
me other than you.
You may be the only one who can.
But every time I try to say it stops.
The words just won’t come out,
I try and I try yet nothing.
Remember that little girl well she
is right here hurting from the
wound that you inflicted upon me.
You said over and over that I am always here for you,
and yet here I am alone locked up in my room.
Where are you? Oh that's right your
no where to be found.
You told me you would never leave
me and yet here i am all alone.
My broken is the only thing to keep me comfortable.
The only thing I now hear is the dripping
of the tears that I now and forever will cry.

The poem is an ongoing trauma of anguish anger betrayal pain and a cry for help once it seems there was an even younger girl who had better times. A tale of domestic violence and victims cry for help. May your future be happier than your past.
