Tears For Africa Poem by Chinonso Uche

Tears For Africa

Rating: 4.0

From my desk I compose
A blueprint of nature
A mysterious gun I suppose
Can you imagine the stature?

A light in the darkness
As seen by her 'frenemies'
Envied by her richness
Traded null for her beauties.

Many cried to be heard
But the master is ready to kill...
She thought some really cared
Never knew all are here to milk.

Poem written from depth reasoning, A reasoning you need for every season. I conclude, I learnt a lesson, That will make me go into deep reasoning. To me, this poem is a blessing.

Yes! A nice poem about Africa. Sometimes we question ourselves that why is Africa used in depicting anarchy, savagery and cruelty, but we always forget to ask ourselves that why are we unsatisfied. We forget the golden rule of God that love your neighbour as yourself. I think Uche has a job nicely done.
