Tears Poem by Ken Verse

Tears

When bullets echo through the night
And crimson stains the morning light
Who will weep for those who die
Who wipes the tears from mothers eyes

Another life gone too soon
Another song without a tune
Who will weep for those who weep
On their journey six feet deep

And when no more tears are left to cry
Bullets will still go whizzing by
And crimson will once more stain the morning light
No tears of sorrow can make it right
