Tears Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Tears

Rating: 5.0

Reaching into the deepest abyss I can touch,
feeling it's emptiness and despair.
It is quite roomy, no light at all,
stifled, not pleasant in any way.
In times and moments of pain where I can feel
total abandonment of youth, I sit in front of a pool
of tears, trying to find one just the right size that
will make me cry and feel better.
Then I realize as I sort through their crystal sadness,
that there aren't any big enough to do the job I need.
To relieve my sadness and help me find peace.
