Tears Poem by Andrea Doumit

Tears

Cry away the pain of yesterday,
Wash away your sorrow.
Forgiving doesn't always mean forgetting,
But always look forward to tomorrow.

A precious diamond falls from your eye,
As a symbol of you dying inside.
Crying means your strong and brave,
Of the memory you will take to the grave.

Don't let men steal your diamonds,
For if they do you will call them thrives.
But remember this,
They also stole your heart and you let them.
