Tears Poem by Kestrel Quiambao

Tears

Tears falling
Ice burning
I cry
No matter how much I try
Forgetting makes it painful
Don't even know how to be regretful
These words seem too short
Yet they came from the North
From the very ashes of destiny
Leading my life into complete misery
There is no light
Not even anything bright
So hopeless
So clueless
What am I to see
What am I to be
This pain that travels my vein
My world is filled with blood rain
Ego, ego, I can despair
Time, time, it's so unfair

A shoulder to feel
A tear to fall
Please, please
I am doing what I can oh God
This heavy burden can't let me down
Please, please
This tear can be rain
But it's my only strength
