Tear You Out Of Me

Rating: 5.0

After things started off so well,
How could we end it like this,
All the things that we used to do,
It is you that I will miss,
I really thought that I loved you,
How could I have been so blind,
Nothing interests me the same way,
Why didn’t I see the signs,

Tearing me away from day to day,
Nothing will ever be the same,
I couldn’t do this on my own,
That’s why my heart feels like stone,
My inner demons, they’re killing me,
My insides burning, from the misery,
I know this, isn’t how it should be,
If I don’t die trying, then I’ll tear you out of me,

In circles I stride, swallowing my pride,
Trying anything, that I can to survive,
I am not mine, you cannot have it,
Look behind you, it’s only blackness,
Keep on running, this fear is lasting,
You’re tormented, its really quite saddening,
You think that you can hide from me,
You can’t escape what you’ve created,

Tearing me away from day to day,
Nothing will ever be the same,
I couldn’t do this on my own,
That’s why my heart feels like stone,
My inner demons, they’re eating at me
My conscience is heavy, and It I can’t carry,
I know this isn’t how it should be,
If I don’t die trying, Then I’ll tear you out of me.
