Tattooed Eternity Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Tattooed Eternity

Rating: 5.0

I supplicate
The goddess
I adore the most,
The midnight
Dancing nymph
Sparkling dance-floor child
Swirling like a dervish
Through all the dreams
That entangle me
In the perfumed essence
Of dazzling flower gardens
Of exotic romance
Flourishing in my mind.

I live and swim
And find the meaning
Of all existence
In the intoxicating dark eyes
Of a mysterious woman
Who refuses to kiss
In the sober and austere sunlight.

I anxiously await
The magical elegance of dusk
And I trust
Ecstasy will claim me
With a tattooed eternity.

I'm still holding 'tattooed eternity' in the palm of my hand with wonder. This is lovely, Uriah. Raynette

Uriah, you spin these pieces so well. 'The midnight dancing nymph.' Gotta love it.
